  Réservé 2 nuits avec 2 lits double. la premiere nuit nous avons été mis dans une chambre avec un lit double et un canapé pliant dans une chambre minuscule. la salle de bain partagée (pour 3 chambres) est trop petite (3 pieds sur 6 maxi). nous avons pu obtenir une vraie chambre avec 2 lits doubles la seconde nuit

  People should be aware that the esapce confort is more of an inn or a hostel rather than a full-service hotel. regardless, i was very happy staying here. the location is excellent, five minutes walk from a metro station and right in the latin quarter. i was in the mini-gold room, which would have been too small for anyone packing a suitcase (no room to lay it out!), but it was fine bringing just a backpack. reception was friendly and helpful, but they are not available 24-hours. the room was cozy and the bathroom was clean.

  We paid for a auberge 1 room and were upgraded to a gold for no extra fee. loved our stay. will recommend this hotel to anyone going to montreal

  It should have been made clear that there was no parking at the hotel before we arrived! also there is no elevator. we had to lug our suitcases down and up several flights of stairs, and then park several blocks away from the hotel. we were not offered any assistance to carry our bags to our room. the room was clean, though. the "free" breakfast was only a single croissant.

  Pour avoir testé durant mon séjour à montréal,les chambres de votre auberge et par la suite les chambres de votre hôtel . je suis en tout point satisfait par les services que vous offrez , aussi bien par la réactivité de vos employés ( tout corps de métier confondus ) et leur politesse, que par la situation géographique de votre établissement .je ne manquerai pas de reserver de nouveau chez vous ,lors de mon prochain voyage. encore merci à tous pour votre gentillesse. cordialement

  The room 404 was smelly when we came, and because it was very cold outside we couldn't keep the window open for more than 10 minutes especially that we came with an infant. it should have been aerated before our arrival. also, at night it got very cold inside even when we set the heater for highest. the crib that we requested and paid $10 extra for that one night was broken on one side and our infant fell in the morning when he stood up. we are very disappointed, and will not recommend this place to any of our friens or family who are going to choose it.

  Juste un petit problème de bruit dans les couloirs, nous étions placés près de la porte du palier, elle était bruyante, ainsi que l'isolation n'était pas suffisante au niveau du bruit.

  Quiet, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. great value. really private. only concern was that the linens were a bit old- bedsheets were very pilled, and thin, and the blankets had cigarette burns.

  All the staff were very friendly except for one young lady with glasses who did the accounting, she wasn't big on being frienly or helpful. would have been very useful for them to provide a tea towel for the kitchen area.

  This is a perfect place to be in the middle of the fun in downtown montreal. people in the hotel is friendly and very efficient. the room i had didn't share wall with the next room, so is perfectly sound-proof. i paid ~70$/night, so it was beyond my expectations. bed is comfy and clean, with all the amenities you usually find in more expensive hotels. i will be back for sure at this place when back to montreal! =d

  Excellent petit hotel. très bien situé: situation centrale, proche de la station centrale d'autobus de montréal. bon petit déjeuner avec choix varié. chambre petite, mais propre et agréable; avec petite cuisinette très pratique. nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour dans cet hotel, et nous le recommanderons à notre famille et à nos amis.

  I have stayed at this place before and i will come back in the future. it is a lovely, clean and comfortable room with a great location. the bed is comfortable and it's great to have some kitchen facilities in the room. the staff are helpful and friendly. all in all, a great place to stay while in la belle ville.

  Pour le prix, cet hotel est formidable. l'equipe a ete merveilleuse avec nous et notre fille de deux ans. c'est vraiment un hotel a recommander! le metro est a deux pas, une pharmacie/superette a 10mn d emarche, on rejoint le vieux montreal en 20mn de marche - nous n'avons jamais utilise le metro. bravo!

  We enjoyed our stay. the room was a little small, but it was very clean and modern. a very good value for the money. parking can be a bit of challenge. the location was great for and lots to do within walking distance. the staff were very friendly and helpful.

  Need to provide parking facilities. it is very hard for someone to walk it to the library parking place in winter. also, please include coffee beans or loose coffee with the coffee machines in the rooms, guests usually don't get their own coffee bags.

  En plein coeur de la rue st-denis, a proximité des bars, de la vie active, de restaurant et dépanneur. la chambre est petite, on doit partager la salle de bain mais c'est un excellent choix à prix très abordable. le personnel est souriant et se force pour parler en français ou trouver un employer qui parle parfaitement français et ce en tout temps. la priorité du français est primordial pour moi!!!

  Draps froissés (je me suis demandé s'ils avaient été changés!!)mon mari n'a pu avoir son chocolat du petit déjeuner que les 3 premiers jours ensuite il n'y en avait plus.l'alarme incendie s'est déclanché (pour rien) une nuit à 2 h du mat donc nuit blanche.a part ça ok.plutot cher par rapport aux hotels français

  Although i haven't given a good rating, there were some very good things. the biggest problems were: no one took us and showed us to our room or explained that there was a kitchen. the two light bulbs in the rooms were broken and no one had fixed them. when i asked for them to be replaced no one did anything and i had to ask a second time. the window was broken and someone had attempted to fix it (unsuccessfully) with duct tape. there was a lot of noise from air-conditioning units outside. air-conditioning was promised, but there was none. private bathroom was promised but there was a shared bathroom. the tiles in front of the shower were broken. the shower water itself was very good, but the unit was so small you could hardly move in it, although the bathroom itself was quite large, clean and pleasant. the staff were all very kind and pleasant and helpful apart from the initial welcome. value for money was fine, but i was led to expect more than was delivered.

  Great location, friendly staff, and a room that was exactly as advertised. the croissants and coffee at breakfast were excellent. one very minor complaint was the noise i could hear in the room above, made worse by the hard floors. but things were mostly quiet during my stay. i would stay here again, and would recommend it to others.

  There was almost no room to store my luggage in the room. the room itself tiny and a very small bed, not the size to accomodate two. despite travelling on my own and having booked a double, i felt the room was just to small. the furniture despite relatively new looked soo cheap and was not in good shape.

  We were disapointed that the washing machine in the bathroom did not work and one of the staff admitted that maintenance never gets done. they did, however, allow us to use the commercial washing machine downstairs. the air conditioning in our room was not working but they did give us a fan to use. this was better than nothing but the room was very hot at night when trying to get to sleep.

  We had a wonderful visit. there was some discrepancy regarding the fee posted online and what was then charged us when we arrived, but this was taken care of the next day. also, u.s. citizens can no longer benefit from tax rebates at the border - this is not the hotel's responsibility, but i think the hotels should know that.

  Room was dirty and had a horrible smell, no access to parking, front desk was unhelpful regarding parking, breakfast consisted of cereal and toast - very low-budget. i would definitely not go tack to this hotel, and probably not to another auberge.

  Nous avons logé deux nuits dans cet hôtel et nous ne pouvons que souligner l'accueil qui nous a été réservé, ainsi que l'efficacité de réponse à un petit service demandé (réservation restaurant). nous ajouterons aussi la qualité des petits déjeuners et l'attention de la personne responsable de sa préparation... nous reviendrons.

  Le rapport qualité/prix et l'avis général sur l'hôtel passeraient à "excellent" si les problèmes de bruit (pour les chambres donnant sur la rue st denis) et de lumière (manque de rideaux occultants) étaient résolus.

  It was a pleasant surprise to find such a good value room in such a great location. the room was spotless, and for it's size, extremely well appointed. the parking was close by and cheap for the centre of montreal (the biblioteque), and the breakfast was excellent, with well made coffee and lovely fresh croissants. the staff were very effecient, friendly and helpful. we'll be back !!

  Accueil chaleureux avec le souci de rendre le séjour agréable. service au client. atmosphère sympatique. arrangements individualisés pour régler des problèmes ou pour faciliter des démarches. situation géographique de premier choix sur la rue saint denis, avec chambres au calme. bien chauffé l'hiver. petit buffet au peitit déjeuner très correct avec bon café direct du percolateur. attention: maison sans ascenceur avec escaliers comme dans les résidences typiques du quartier. hôtel à recommander sans hésitation pour clientèle qui cherche un bon produit sans luxe raffiné et exubérant.
