  I booked this hotel on the basis of location and cost. i don't need alot of frills, and therefore wasn't at all surprised at what i got...which was a basic room. an elevator would have helped in getting the bags to the room, but other than that, i didn't mind the daily climb. the desk person who checked me in was very professional and welcoming. i will probably stay at this hotel again in the future, as the "plateau" area of montreal is a great place to explore and enjoy.

  This could be a good hotel, provided a few things could get changed. firstly, the reception of wi-fi in the room was really poor. the rooms which were kept at this price was at sub-terrain (basement) level - i don't have a problem with that, but it should have been revealed before booking. the magnetic strip of door card-key got dysfunctional and we were told to keep this away from electronic devices such as cellphone, which we did the next time - the problem still persisted. not a big deal - but we had to call for assistance in opening door each time we returned to hotel. the room where we stayed lacked sufficient electric power outlets. we had couple of camera's, and pcs. we had to disconnect main lights of the room to be able to connect our stuff. positive feedback: behavior of the staff was very good. the lady even accommodated us couple of hours before our scheduled check-in time, without any additional costs. overall, not value for money.

  We really enjoyed staying at the hotel but wished there were more chairs in the room to watch tv. for the price, it was a very nice, clean room and the breakfast was wonderful. we had one problem and they acted on it very quickly.

  We paid far too much for this substandard room. but it was nascar weekend in montreal and nothing else was to be found. everyone was pleasant however!

  The room was clean, spacious and quiet but very stark. it appeared as though it was thrown together at the last minute to rent out on a busy weekend. there was a very comfortable queensize bed with only a single lamp and night table on one side of the bed. so, the room was dark. there was nothing on any of the walls such as paintings or photographs so the first impression was very unwelcoming.

  The hotel is located in an exceptional location, upon entering we weren't welcome and were provided a basement room, the interior was cheap with curtains falling, the breakfast had cheap coffee, muffin, and cereals only, the price paid was way to high for it. compare to the u.s. the canadians need to step up the notch.

  If you are in montreal for the nightlife, this hotel is in an excellent location, right smack dab in the middle of the "plateau/main" area with the hippest shops, restaurants and clubs. the staff were friendly and did everything they could to accomodate, including putting me in a very large room with a street view when i requested one. this hotel does not have a ton of amenities to offer but the place really isn't about that. it's about offering a clean, safe place to lay your head after a day (or night) of taking in beautiful montreal and the rates are hard to beat! downsides are the "breakfast" which is basically just a few cold cereal options, bread to toast or muffins and the five-floor hotel has no elevator, but these inconveniences pale in comparison to the bargain you're getting on comfort, location and price.

  Nous ne pouvons que vous dire de continuer votre excellent service et à remercier le personnel de leur travail bien fait. félicitation, nous nous ferons un plaisir d'y revenir. nous donnerons l'adresse à nos amis qui veulent aller pour quelques jours à montréal, l'endroit est vraiment bien situé et surtout très facile d'accès.

  I really loved this hotel. the staff were excellent, the location was fantastic and the service and welcome that we received was friendly and warm. we really enjoyed our stay. the only small downside was that there was some noise from the rooms above but this can't be helped!

  Hotel front desk very friendly and helpful. the worst part is parking. steet parking is meter 4 hrs max. must pay additional $20 per day for off street parking.

  Attention pas d'ascenceur et pas de porteurs ! hotel à 4 étages donc pas pratique du tout pour faire suivre les valises ou pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. l'accueil est sympathique comme le sont les habita,ts de montréal. chambres et salle de bain très propres. pas situé en centre ville mais avec un arrêt de bus juste en face et une station de métro à 15 minutes de marche. 60 euros par nuit pour deux est largement suffisant pour la qualité des services offerts.

  Unico disappunto sulla colazione. viene servita in un caffe di qulità molto piu bassa in confronto al hotel tramite un tagliando. e comunque mi hanno sempre fatto pagare, cosa molto sgradevole, non tanto per i soldi ma per la presa in giro. il personale dell'albergo è molto gentile e cordiale.

  Grande porte ouvrable a l'arriere de la chambre, très pratique quand il fait beau. bon accueil a la réception et pas trop de bruit meme si c'est sur du parc. demander une chambre donnant sur la cour.

  Hotel was excellent; it was clean, the staff very friendly, and the location is just north of downtown montreal. beds were very comfortable and the room quite large. just a few suggestions: hotel needs to have a do not disturb sign for the door, tissues, a wastebasket (aside from the one in the bathroom) and a coffemaker in the room. they do offer a hairdryer and iron if you ask. aside from that, no problems at all! very happy with this hotel.

  La réceptionniste n'avait pas la monnaie à nous rendre car nous avons payé comptant. le site indiquait que nous pouvions disposer d'un lecteur dvd sur demande, mais il n'y en avait aucun. mis à part cela, nous avon apprécié notre séjour. merci.

  I don't know if all the rooms are the same size, but if they are, i strongly recommend that a small table and at least two chairs be made available for the clients. also free coffee/tea service in the room would be nice. parking is definitely a big problem, it would be nice if parking accomodations were made accessible nearby. i know it's winter so maybe there is less of a problem in the summer.

  The major problem i had with this room was with the sound insulation. our room was right by the stairs and we could hear everyone walking down them in the morning. it was very loud. other than that, the value for your money is good. very basic, but a clean and spacious room.

  L'hôtel est très bien situé et les chambres spacieuses. il est regrétable que le petit déjeuner ne soit pas réellement compris (le forfait de 3.5$ au restaurant d'en face n'est pas suffisant). pour l'isolation des chambres, pas de problème avec le bruit de la circulation en revanche l'isolation des murs + planché bois n'est pas terrible. le wifi dans les chambres est pratique même s'il a souvert de pannes en fin de séjour, dommage. les personnes de l'accueil sont serviables même si un petit salon avec quelques chaises + tables serait le bien venue. au final, vu le prix pratiqué dans les autres hôtels, celui-ci est vraiment bien situé.
