  Great experience with this hotel. could not have had a better stay. the staff was so professional, friendly, and helpful. the rooms were so nice and the art in the hotel was amazing. would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to montreal.

  We had a very nice stay at l'hotel and would gladly stay there again. it was located in an ideal location to visit old town montreal.

  Overall soundproofing fine. entry not sealed around perimeter-making hall traffic noisy and admits much light. no provisal for comfortable reading chair/light. car parked for 04 days and covered with concrete dust when returned-unacceptable @ $22/diem charged. very helpful staff personnel.

  L'hotel is an excellent hotel within two blocks of the metro and several very good restaurants. our executive king room was very large, well appointed, and quiet. the staff is very friendly. the breakfast was good. the lobby bar was relaxing. i would stay here again.

  This was the nicest hotel i've ever stayed at. people working there knew me by name and they were super helpful, literally above and beyond my requests helpful! they were all funny and polite at the same time. i always felt like was coming back home. the hotel itself is beautiful, filled with hundreds of original art pieces and its all there for you to enjoy - brilliant.

  This is lovely hotel! fantastic room, decor and location! friendly staff. clean rooms - nice size bathrooms. we were on the main floor and the morning traffic is a little nosiy, but this is the city, so not unusual or horrendous. i'd recommend this hotel to everyone!

  Un excellent hôtel proche du centre historique du vieux montréal. la suite est très grande et meublée avec goût, le lit de qualité (king size), les prestations très pratiques (en particulier le service de voiturier 20cad). je recommande le peignoir brodé à un prix raisonnable (90 cad). seul le buffet du petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré quoique très convenable.

  Superb boutique hotel on quiet street, convenient to metro and vieux montreal. friendly and helpful staff. many bistros and restaurants nearby. great walking area.

  This hotel is a real gem. the staff were unbelievably helpful, friendly and professional. the hotel is a beautiful facility, nicely appointed and kept in the old style. we totally enjoyed our time there and will certainly advise friends about it and will stay there again when in montreal.

  This is a wonderful hotel in a great location. the staff was outstanding and so friendly. the hotel is also very pretty. we had a jr. suite and it was huge. we were very happy with our stay there.

  The location was very nice, and the hotel looked fine on the outside and inside. the linens were clean and the bed was good for sleeping. in the morning, they had offered coffee at the bar, however, i got to know that after i had checked out the hotel. the explanations for stay at the hotel were not written well, so i had to ask them everything i want to know.

  The hotel was wonderful and gave the feeling of a small b&b with the benefits of a larger hotel. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. the rooms were clean and spacious. the breakfast was delicious. the lobby was comfortable and cozy. the location of the hotel was perfect and everything was within walking distance - the old city, the jazz festival, etc.

  All staff were very helpful, friendly, except one parking attendant. the breakfast options were good - it would have been nice to have more hot options given the cold weather. my rating above for services/facilities is such because the hotel does not offer any other facilities (ie. exercise room, etc) but this was not a problem as i was not looking for a hotel with such amenities.

  The hotel xix siecle truly is a fantastic hotel, with a helpful and knowledgeable staff. we booked through the last minute deal and received a lovely suite at the cost of normal hotel room.

  My friends and i loved the hotel. the location was perfect for wandering around the old city of montreal. the room was very spacious. luxurious towels and bathrobes were a welcome addition.

  The staff was super friendly from taking bags from the taxi, making dinner suggestions, giving directions, ordering taxi to the airport on checkout, and the breakfast which was included for a special weekend was outstanding. we were expecting a small typical continental breakfast and were surprised by all the huge and fresh joices with a wait staff that started the day in a welcoming manner. also, very very quiiet at night and the room was nice with its high ceiling and comfortable beds with heavy down comforter and sea of pillows. (winter trip here)
